RAINN'S MISSION

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. The SIA World Service Office serves both the many independent SIA support groups around the world, as well as individuals who contact us. We: publish and offer literature for sale; maintain the Directory of Meetings and keep current a list of members; maintain an SIA information phone line; issue quarterly Newsletters and offer speakers for outreach and education opportunities.

The only requirement for membership is that you were sexually abused as a child and you want to recover. The activities of SIA’s World Service Office are funded by the sale of downloadable literature and through your contributions. We depend primarily on the contributions of SIA groups and individuals. The SIA office is staffed exclusively by volunteers. Its need for financial support is ongoing and is particularly acute at this time. No donation is too small.

Our best wishes to you in your recovery. Recovery is difficult, but at least we now know that we are not to blame, and we are not alone.

A Community of people who through shared experience, strength, and hope are recovering from unhealthy relationships with food and body image.

Is OA right for you?
You may not know this from the news, but child abuse and neglect is preventable when we focus on solutions.

  •     We are learning how we can stop those who abuse children.
  •     We are focusing on how we can change the culture, environment, and communities so that abuse and neglect of children is less likely to happen.
  • We are recognizing that family privacy is important, but the abuse and neglect of a child is not a private matter.

Every one of us CAN do something about it.
We can all help prevent suicide. The 988 Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals in the United States.
The NO MORE Global Directory is a first-of-its-kind, comprehensive international directory of domestic violence and sexual assault resources in almost every UN-recognized country and territory in the world. The site was created by the NO MORE Foundation in partnership with the United Nations and the World Bank, and it is intended to serve as a global hub of information and resources for victims and their loved ones. This directory is the latest step in our efforts to create a world with NO MORE domestic and sexual violence.
